Teacher’s Day-A remarkable celebration!

“A teacher is like a candle- it consumes itself to light the way for others.” – Anonymous
“Teaching is the profession that teaches all the other professions,” Anonymous.
Teacher’s Day is that momentous event where students commemorate the teachers to shower their love, adoration and respect to their teachers, the reservoir of knowledge, love and compassion, in their lives.

Teacher’s Day is one of the occasion on which teachers are praised. On this day, school students dress up like their teachers and attend classes acting like their teachers. As the day passes the students reciprocate & perform the activities that are performed by the teachers.

Marking respect and reverence Teacher’s Day was organized by the students of class 10th .They took charge of the program and conducted the show immaculately without the teacher’s assistance which was a commendable endeavour.

They performed a skit, to demonstrate the significance of the role of teachers in students’ life as educator, moving on to foot tapping dances and, they presented a range of their creative capabilities. Surprise games were also planned by the students which enlightened the celebration with fun and joy.

The School Management organized an enthralling party for the teachers fraternity along with the Children for the lunch party, thus ensuring more interaction amongst the teachers and children.

Teacher’s discussions, on the day continued even after the event as scheduled ended. The Teachers praised the students’ performances and felt touched with the cards especially made for them. As a matter of fact the teachers felt heart touched with such a spirited & splendid show.

Enriching Experience, at Regional level CBSE Science Exhibition

SAS students participated in the Regional Level CBSE Science Exhibition at Jaipur on August 24th and 25th.
The theme for the exhibition was, “Where Will Energy Come From In the Future and Electromagnetic Radiation and Its Effects.” The venue for the prestigious event was Maharaja Sawai Man Singh Vidyalaya, Jaipur. The exhibits were related to contemporary issues.

Under the able guidance of our very able facilitator Mr Satya Ramesh, Abhijeet Dass and Aman Rathi (Classes X and IX) respectively prepared their project on Windmill, while Dheer Dholakia and Dhruv Garg (Classes X and IX) exhibited their project on the Effect of Electromagnetic Radiation on the birds.

The students went in for a lot of research and preparation  going much beyond the text book learning. Our young SAS scientists learnt to perform simple activities and also built scientific temper amongst fellow students. It was time to learn that behind every scientific discovery there are three steps-Assumption, Observation/Experimentation and Conclusion. It was important for the concepts to be clear and not make any wild guesses. The basic of science is to know the scientific principle behind every phenomenon/mechanism thoroughly and then look for the future scope or viability of the principle from a newer dimension. Critical appreciation is important for the growth. This enriching experience will definitely help our students to prepare for PRABHAT.
The participation gave vision to our Think Tanks.
