SAS organized art workshop ‘Paint with Rajesh Sagra’ for students from classes III – VIII. Students were invited alongwith their friends.
A post graduate in sculpting, recipient of innumerable awards, unique ability to work in various mediums, bestowed with many fellowships to his credit, brain behind many amazing installations at various venues and many more.
Rajesh Sagra spent three hours at SAS with the students in teaching them techniques of painting without using a pencil. He demonstrated by painting an elephant on a jumbo hand made paper!! The children were encouraged to break free from the concept of ‘The sun is always yellow’. Children were excited to see quickness with which Mr. Sagra could use his hands to draw a lovely elephant in a relaxed way
The workshop worked as an eye opener for the children as a lot of myth towards the art of painting were broken and encouraged to paint freely without worrying what is good and what is bad.
SAS cherishes these three hours as a part of the golden period of the school history.
