The tiny tots of classes I and II visited the Maniben Tribhuvandas Mahila Gruh an old age home with the teachers.
Children presented a colorful cultural programme comprising of prayers and songs and enjoyed listening to the bhajans and stories of Lord Krishna. Children took blessings of the Dadis and Nanis by touching their feet and sharing sweets with them. The senior citizens were overwhelmed and advised children to respect elders, imbibe right values and cherish the rich Indian traditions and culture.
Even though the student spent a few hours with the respected elders, it was not enough as there were still lots to share and talk of. They were invited to visit the old age home more frequently particularly for their Sunday prayer service. The children left the place with lots of thoughts lingering in their minds. Altogether it was a visit full of emotions, happiness and empathy.
