Krishna
is called Yogeshwara, the Ishwar of Yog. Janmashtami commemorates the
earthly appearance of Krishna, who is described in India’s sacred
writings as God Himself. One of the biggest religious festivals in
India was celebrated with great festivity at SAS. On August 9, 2012.
The
pre-primary students were dressed as deities, Radha-Krishna. Children
enjoyed dressing up as Radha, Krishna and their associates, and
re-enacted Krishna’s pastimes. This helped to create a very festive
mood. They wore extra special outfits to re-create the ambience of
Krishna Lila, Mathura. The parents exercised their creativity and payed
special attention in decorating them. The assembly plaza was recreated
like the temple programme and devotional songs were sung for the Aarti.
The pre-primary students tapped their feet on a wide variety of
Radha-Krishna numbers. It was amazing to see the little ones recite
Shlokas and Mahabharat lines confidently.
The Dahi
Handi festivities mandate a skillful fine balance, as Krishna climbed a
top of, a pyramid, taking necessary precautions. Special peda as prasad
was distributed to the SAS family.
It was
also time to bid adieu to our Director Mr.Ronak Chiripal, who left for
the US.Smt and Shri Brijmohan Chiripal were the chief guest on the
occasion.
Jai Shri Krishna.
Jai Shri Krishna.
