21st Century Infrastructure


The infrastructure at SAS, is an outcome of the needs and aspirations of your child. The entire infrastructure has been made keeping in mind, how to stimulate a child's imagination once inside the campus.

The campus provides the following facilities for the Holistic development of the child:

1.Air-conditioned Learning centres/classrooms. Specially designed Pre School classrooms which are colorful and vivacious giving toddler’s lots of scope to explore and learn.

2.Computer labs with unlimited access to information and knowledge.

3.IT enabled Knowledge centers powered by broad band internet with a dedicated team of knowledge buffs to download and keep the entire school current with global events.

4.State of the Art IT enabled library. The Library at SAS works closely with the Knowledge centre and constantly adds to its knowledge resources. Multimedia presentations in libraries shall be a common feature in the library.

5.Science labs for research and life science studies, language labs for lingua enhancement, Mathematics labs for numerical efficiency shall be the key highlights at SAS.

6.Art & Design centres enable children to express their ideas in a more artistic and creative manner. With evolving forward linkages of art to imaging the children shall be given a opportunity to try their hand at digital art like animation etc under the guidance of eminent faculty from the field.

7.Performing studios for dance and music to give the children an exposure in World music. Children shall be thought classical, semi-classical, western form of dance and music at SAS.

8.Amphitheatre to for theatrical and musical performances.

9.Ample Sports facilities comprising courts and grounds for badminton, volleyball, basketball, soccer, cricket.

10.Dedicated R&D centre headed by the Principal ensures positive and consistent ideation amongst the teachers thus taking the school towards innovation

Dental Care @SAS


Health and Hygiene’ – In connection with the running theme of the month, our pre-primary children visited ‘Dr. Zaveri’s Dental clinic’ for an awareness session followed by individual checkup.

Each child was given due attention and induction about dental care and as a recognition of their involvement and interest each of them received a bagful of fruits from Dr. Zaveri.

Visit @ Vaishno Devi


“Jai Mata di” “Govinda, Gopala” – echoes of Jaikar everywhere
Std I and II students were all geared up to visit Vaishno Devi and Balaji Mandir on 21/10/10, in alignment to their ‘Culture and Heritage’. When they reached the temple, they adapted to the peaceful environment.

They received a coin ‘Khazana’ as Prasad, listened to the story of Maa and understood the history behind each stoppage like Ban Ganga, Charan Paduka etc, Incarnation of lord Vishnu at Balaji Mandir left them spell bound.

Such visits make learning easy and meaningful.

Dussehra @ SAS


SAS celebrated the festival with gaiety. The whole Ramayan was narrated in abridged form at the school assembly by our Hindi department. The teacher glorified the importance of celebrating Dussehra as a festival signifying victory of good over evil.


A few students of prep-dressed up as Ram / Laxman shot arrows at the effigy. The students witnessed burning of effigy of Ravan in joy.

Day Boarding @ SAS


Shanti Asiatic school DAY BOARDING PROGRAM is another initiative to further our vision of ensuring Holistic Development of our children. A Program that offers beyond school hours academic guidance, activity based engagements and a comprehensive physical development routine.

The primary objective of the program is to offer our children an opportunity to spend quality time within the school environment and engage them positively in developmental activities under the guidance of educators and experts.

The program has been divided into academic time and physical engagement time to ensure that the children nurture independent work habits and find time to explore, interact and experience freedom and fun of learning. Preparing creative team projects would be a part of the learning process. This inculcates team work, co-existence, and responsibility towards deadlines.

Spending more time at school is being greatly enjoyed by all day boarders who are now getting more scope to observe and absorb from their Surroundings.

Bus-Washing Day @ SAS

All Children of nursery, Jr.Kg, Sr.Kg, Classes 1 & 2 were enthralled to have a Bus – Washing Day. They eagerly waited for their turn to washing the bus and enjoyed the washing experience to the core.

They are now looking forward to such more sessions.

Prayaas @ SAS


The chairman of the school Shri. Brijmohan Chiripal REASSURED that SAS would be relentless in its attempt to keep the association meaningful & fruitful.

On October 5, 2010 SAS celebrated ‘Prayaas’, to introduce children to Gandhian way of life on the occasion of his birthday and to highlight on his tools of Truth, Ahimsa, Satyagraha and Non-violence, thro mime and narration.

The program began around 9:00 am in the morning with a warm welcome to the parents and Children of ‘Samvedna’- An NGO, Blind People Association & Shela Municipal School by the SAS Teachers.

Though the whole function was connected and maintained the spirit throughout, there were peak points like cricket match & Basketball game between SAS children and children of Blind People Association. Also canvas painting on Gandhiji’s vision by SAS children, Shela Municipal School’s children and ‘Samvedna’ children.

On this occasion, Extending its arms for underprivileged children further, SAS launched SASkar, a ‘Buddy school programme’ for Shela Municipal School (SMS) in which SAS children will be continuously interacting with Shela Municipal School (SMS) and assisting them learn finer skills of life.
