Uttarayan was celebrated with great festivity on SAS campus. It was a bright, sunny, breezy morning. The SAS kites, gifted to the students soared high. The students rolled the spool, competing with their friends. Traditional sweets the”Chikki” was also distributed. PPT presentation was given to the students on “Safety to be observed while flying kites.”There was a ban on the usage of manja thread. Helpline numbers of ASHA Foundation,CHETNA Kendra and SHANTIDOOT was given to SAS fraternity,for the injured birds and animals.
An extraordinary day for the students. Children of all ages flew kites and rejoiced in the spirit of the day. The open blue sky was enlivened with the designer SAS kites.The flying kites soared the spirit of “Uttarayan” higher.
