Prabhat – A Celebration of Learning

Children are naturally motivated to learn and are capable of immense learning. They are natural learners and through their interactions with their environment they keep (connecting new ideas). This structuring and restructuring of ideas leads them to explore, respond, invent work things out, interpret and construct new knowledge .This is the essence of Prabhat – the SAS Annual Exhibition – which displays the stimulation of our students’ creativity and the progress in their learning.

Prabhat – therefore presents our children’s way of investigating and understanding the world, exploring their resources, analyzing their everyday experience, handling objects and expressing themselves. Their concerns and issues related to the environment are given much importance. Many of these resolve daily real life situations. Students have addressed various problems related to climate change, global warming, resource depletion, pollution, health & nutrition. By applying their scientific & technological knowledge and their mathematical understanding they are learning important life skills and being empowered to sustain the well being of people in modern society. Their understanding of how the unlimited use of natural resources affects the eco system enables them to appreciate and participate in the responsible use of science and technology for the benefit of the society. Indeed we are confident the scientific vision being developed in our students will help them to become sensitive and responsible citizen of the world.

Prabhat ‘a celebration of learning’ is our natural step towards building in our students-the beginning of a new vision of looking at life’s challenges creatively.
