Students of SAS of class II went for an educational trip to a farm in Sanand, beside Eklavya School to understand the concept of framing from sowing to harvesting. They got the actual experience of cutting the crops. They also got to see different crops – 5 to 20 days old. They learnt the importance of ploughing, adding manure in proportion, watering the plants, tube well and also a canal through which the water reaches from one end to another.
Children saw many chikoo trees on the way to the farm. The experience was an enriching one for the children and they learnt the importance of farming. The students were given a worksheet post the field trip to express their learning.
