All the prominent newspapers are flashing such headlines. Yes, this summer is not only hotter but also has brought severer water crisis with it. Even a massive campaign might not be sufficient to completely control the situation.Yet a small endeavor can make a big difference- this is what 'Shanti Educational Initiatives' firmly believes in, and that is the reason why we always extend our roles beyond the four walls of our work periphery to reach out to the society.
In this scorching heat it’s just a humble gesture in the form of ‘Jal Seva’ to quench the thirst of common people with cool and pure drinking water (from our RO plant). For this service we identified locations with long stretches where no drinking water is available and where the intensity of heat is as strong as the craving for cool water. The Jal Seva began on 21st May 2011 and we have already covered Bopal, Ghuma, Nehru Nagar Circle, IIM circle etc.
