Festivity with-Rakhi Activities

Children of pre-primary made a “Rakhi” as part of their craft activity. Keeping in mind the symbol of love and security the teachers tied a rakhi to the children, accompanied by a “Tilak” and a sweet. Enthusiastic Class I toddlers, were more than happy to bring exciting little beads and trinkets to beautiful rakhi cards. Students of classes II and III created artistic rakhis from colourful stones, beads and embellishments.

Matkis were decorated by the students of classes IV and V. Classes VI, VII and VIII showed their skill by decorating the thalis with moong and channa dal. The thalis were all set to be used for puja. It was time to show innovation by the students of classes IX and X. Live demo by a video presentation helped them to make exquisite roses from satin ribbons. These beautifully crafted ribbons added life to the bamboo baskets. The students strived to prepare dainty Rakhi gifts and thalis.
