Kite and Maanjaa making workshop

Kites have an universal fascination and it defies the laws of age.

Shanti Asiatic School had recently organized a ‘Kite and Maanjaa making workshop’ on the 9th of Jan 2011 in the campus for staff members and students. Experts of these fields were invited to demonstrate and teach our children these arts.

The campus was filled with an urge to measure and cut the papers correctly and to choose the best colors for their Dhori. At the end our children flew the kites that they made. It was a creation and it got the due attention that it deserved. Our tiny toddlers flew balloons.

Our students were overjoyed to watch and experience Adventure Sports!!! Slithering and River crossing were demonstrated and experienced by children. They looked like astronauts who were ready to fly space ships .Thrill over took fear. The journey was as existing as the destination.

Our school witnessed a mixture of emotions that of experimenting, learning, experiencing, fearing, enjoying and many more. Shanti Asiatic School witnessed actual teaching and learning process taking place without a classroom and the routine needs as it was natural and a bond was created between the teachers and the taught within no time.
