I like to walk with Grandpa
His steps are short like mine.
He doesn't say "Now hurry up!"
He always takes his time.
Most people have to hurry,
They do not stop and see,
I'm glad that God made Grandpa
"Unrushed" and young like me.
SAS family paid tribute to the grandparents on 21October by organizing a cultural evening in their honour. The unconditional love, kindness, warmth, patience,…is a constant source of inspiration for the grandchildren. The culture evening had a variety of programmes to entertain the grandparents and parents, which had a beautiful blend of traditional and modern day culture.
The fish pond game was the highlight of the evening when the grandparents participated in singing duets, some swayed on their numbers and absolutely mesmerized the audience. The performance of the senior citizens uplifted the spirit of the younger lot. The musical entertainment was followed by dinner and a small gift as a token of respect. SAS fraternity wished our very dear and valuable grandparents and parents a very HAPPY DIWALI.
