SAS at Singapore and Malaysia

14 students and 4 staff members were on an educational and sightseeing trip to Singapore and Malaysia. The students appreciated Singapore for the multicultural society, which shows the world to live harmoniously together. The city enjoys a clean and green environment and a well connected transport system. The city is livable and attractive. It continues to grow and develop. The students visited the Science Centre, Juron Park, Sentosa Island, Singapore Night Safari, to name a few.

Sentosa Island is the biggest attraction for the nature lovers which includes animal kingdom, flora and fauna. The SAS group went on a guided tour,to discover nature. Later in the evening the SAS group was in awe by the SONGS OF THE SEA-the laser show with music. It left one and all spellbound. At the Jurong Park,the students witnessed one of the largest aviary show, which has a stunning collection of birds. It was time to watch the trained magnificent falcons. The students also went on an expedition into the world of penguins. The Bird show left one and all speechless. Science Centre has many forms-fun and education. It was an excellent science excursion.

At Malaysia it was a city tour besides the Genting Highlands and the Petronas Towers. At the Theme Park-Genting Highlands it was fun at its peak. With 40 rides-indoors and outdoors. The multimillion ringit playground was visited by the students on Nov 14, 2011,Childrens’Day. The TwinTowers or Menara Berkembar Prtronas are the skyscrapers. Tallest building in the world till2004-The landmark of Kuala Lumpur.

The students visited the Indian Global School and CHIJ at Singapore. Here the students interacted with the Singaporean and Indian students. They exchanged notes on academic and cultural front. It was an enriching experience for the students and the staff. The students of SAS were appreciated for their conduct, smartness and behavior. The students were mesmerized by the infrastructure, technology, discipline, cleanliness and progress of these countries.. They vowed to follow the same.

The trip was a huge success and on the way back the students had already started planning for the next one!!!
